About Us
Dansplaats Arnhem offers a space for contemporary dance. We offer a place for (young) adults to learn, create and share dance. Both beginners, intermediate, advanced dancers and professionals are more than welcome. We offer classes in various contemporary dance styles.
Professionals can participate in a training with us, organize workshops and meet each other. Do you want to start a class or movement research yourself, make a production or train in the form of an open jam for example? Then please contact us. We are happy to facilitate a space for initiatives that support contemporary dance in Arnhem.
Regular Classes
The season consists of a total of 36 weeks (September 2, 2024 - June 29, 2025) and is divided into multiple periods.
It is possible to enroll during the year. Keep an eye on our website for current offers and timetables.

Training Professionals
Dansplaats Arnhem want to be there for the professional dance scene in and around the city. We want to be there for dance professionals and students (academically trained and self-taught) and offer them a space to meet each other and build the community in Arnhem. Below are initiatives that we are currently running.
Een training voor dansprofessionals* door dansers en makers uit Arnhem en omgeving. De invulling van de training verschilt, afhankelijk van wie de training leidt, maar denk hierbij aan contemporary, partnering, floorwork en improvisatie. Met deze training bieden we dansprofessionals de ruimte om samen te trainen en uit te wisselen vanuit de eigen praktijk, ter versterking van de danscommunity in Arnhem. *Afgestudeerde dansers/dansdocenten/ autodidacte dansers/dansstudenten
Start of the season Om samen het seizoen te openen organiseert Dansplaats drie workshops op zondag 1 september. Een dag om weer in je lichaam te komen, te trainen en geïnspireerd te raken door geweldige docenten, dansers en choreografen. En daarnaast ook te connecten met de danscommunity in en om Arnhem. SINGLE CLASSES
Would you like to come by spontaneously or pay per class? That is certainly possible!
€18,- per lesson
Depending on when you start, you buy a class package consisting of a certain number of classes. The teacher will discuss this with you.
€15,- per lesson
FIXED CLASSES
DANCE STUDENT
To encourage dance students to gain experience outside of their studies and to come into contact with the professional field, we offer a separate prize.
€7,- per lesson
COMMUNITY TRAINING
We ask a small contribution for renting the space. You can pay directly after each training in cash or by scanning a QR code.
